Tongabezi, Sindabezi and Tangala

Tongabezi is a luxury lodge near Victoria Falls on the banks of the Zambezi River. It was founded in 1990 by Ben Parket and the late Will Ruck-Keene, pioneers of eco-tourism in Zambia. Tongabezi combines romance and exclusivity with warmth and attentive service. Each house and cottage has its own valet who takes care of guests throughout their stay and act as a private concierge.  Choose between the honeymoon house, bird house, tree house, dog house, nut house, river and garden cottages. There is no set pattern to the days at Tongabezi. Guests can do as much or as little as they wish, with game drives, bush walks and boating trips all included in the price. The majestic Victoria Falls can be viewed either by boat or helicopter.

Sindabezi Island is a luxury camp near Victoria Falls.  Sindabezi Island is unique. An idyllic bush camp on our very own private isle on the Zambezi River. It is the only luxury camp in the Victoria Falls region and in 2008 was selected by The Sunday Times in London as one of the best remote places to stay in th world.
Sindabezi has only five open-sided thatched cottages, allowing guests to soak up the signs and sounds of the African bush in the perfect, pristine setting.  Views across the flood plains of the Zambezi and into the nearby National Park complete the experience.
May guests combine Sindabezi with a stay at our sister property, Tongabezi Lodge, a short boat ride away.

Tangala House is a luxurious family home on the banks of the Zambezi River, 15 km’s upstream of Victoria Falls. The house has four bedrooms, three with en-suite bathrooms, and a 12 meters private swimming pool.  Stylishly designed and furnished, it has featured in House and Garden magazine in the UK and comes with its own staff.
Ideal for a Zambia family safari, Tangala House sleeps up to 8 and has a children’s playroom and a spacious kitchen – dining room. With glass throughout, designed to keep out insects, guests enjoy magnificent views across the Zambezi and can view elephant herds drinking on the opposite bank. There is a minimum stay of 3 nights for safari holidays and a minimum occupancy of four people.
