About Us

Zahn Du Toit

Founder and Africa Travel Consultant
Zahn grew up just outside Cape Town and enjoyed the African bush from an early age. Her international travels include France, Holland, Greece, Denmark, Sweden, Israel, America, Scotland and Ireland. She still prefers Africa and has travelled extensively throughout Africa. Her first real taste of Africa was a Gorilla Safari in the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park in Uganda eighteen years ago, and she has not looked back! She has subsequently been on safari to Kenya, the Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater in Tanzania, Zanzibar, Malawi, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Botswana, Namibia and various destinations in South Africa including the Kgalagadi and Richtersveld Transfrontier Parks, Kruger National Park, Timbavati, Karoo National Park, Mountain Zebra National Park, Augrabies Falls National Park, the West Coast and Namaqua National Parks.

Zahn has spent the last twelve years working in sales and marketing, with the last five years specialising in the African tourism industry. She has attended various trade fairs, working out private tailor made African safaris, sourcing the best products and doing reservations for a diverse range of travellers – from singletons, to families and corporate groups. She enjoys camping in the wild as well as luxury lodges.

Zola Du Toit

Marketing: United Kingdom
Zola grew up in the Western Cape of South Africa, close to two of her favourite things: the Helderberg Mountains and the Ocean. Her three sisters and she were lucky enough to have a mother who enjoyed travelling extensively throughout South Africa, with the Kruger National Park being one of her favourite annual destinations. She has spent at least 365 days of her life in National Parks or on safari! She has lived in London for twelve years, which gives her an excellent base for travelling, whilst only being an overnight flight away from Africa. Apart from Southern Africa, she has travelled to Iceland, Australia, America, Hong Kong, Thailand, various countries in Europe and sixteen cities in mainland China. Her next holiday destinations are the Timbavati and Kruger National Park, and she also plans on visiting Dubai, Spain, California, Hawaii and South America in the near future. She prefers luxury lodges to camping safaris.

Favourite African Animals
African Elephant, Lion, Rhinoceros, Warthog, Kudu, Leguan, Porcupine and Wild Dog

Favourite birds
Yellow Billed Hornbill, Marabou Stork, Southern Ground Hornbill, Secretary Bird, White-headed Vulture and Guinea Fowl

Flying (smaller crafts like tigermoths / microlighting), sailing, fly fishing, kayaking, snorkelling, scuba, and experiencing different cultures and cuisines

Why Zola loves Africa
She finds that all the cities in the countries she has visited usually have the same type of feel. Southern Africa is the only place she has been to where in each country, each location is unique and vastly different from the next – she loves this diversity
